- Set up a purchase page in the Civil Sector Press web site.
- Offer special deals and volume discounts as appropriate.
- Set it up on Amazon Canada, US and International in print and Kindle version.
- Insert regular ads in Hilborn’s weekly Charity eNEWS.
- Run excerpts and reviews as articles in Charity eNEWS.
- Do periodic eblasts for the book to the Charity eNEWS distribution list, starting with a discounted introductory offer.
- Send review copy and information to the AFP International bookstore.
- Include at the bookstore at the annual AFP Toronto Congress.
- Offer book deals to attendees at in-person and virtual conferences and trainings.
- Support the author’s speaking engagements by shipping books where they are needed.
- Produce postcards and bookmarks for distribution by CSP and author.
- Offer title to Red Tuque Books (a Canadian distributor), where it would be added to Book Manager for easy access by independent booksellers, and to the Red Tuque website.
- Provide review copies and explore possibilities to spread the word:
- Key individual influencers
- Schools and colleges
- Training organizations
- Charity sector umbrella groups
- Professional associations
- Investigate possibility of reviews in other sector publications
- Investigate possibilities for bulk sales.
- Help you create an author/book website
- Help you create a book page on Facebook
- Support your efforts to promote and publicize your book through social media campaigns
- Help organize a book launch program.
- Create a press kit, and an effective press release
- Recommend awards entries, if any.
